My approach to parties and celebrations is to create a personalized, meaningful and unique celebration that truly captivates the magic of life’s great moments. I love selecting a theme that caters to the guest(s) of honor and carrying it out to the smallest detail. From decor to favors to food and desserts, I feel that the best parties, showers, and weddings have a thread that ties it all together in a flawless manner. That is why I have included sweets in my services: to enhance the parties and events that I help shape, create, and execute.
You need SAVOR to help you imagine and realize an outstanding celebration. Why through an average party when you can add a few simple details and make it amazing!?! Sometimes having someone who is able to see the whole picture and then walk alongside you to make that vision a reality, is all that you need to be able to enjoy the process a little more. Adding ease to the process as well as providing an exceptional outcome are what I do best.
I know that most of you are busy preparing your menus for next week’s big meal. I just want to challenge you to make your Thanksgiving dinner party extra special this year by not only making wonderful food and presenting it in a beautiful way, but also incorporating gratitude in your celebration.
In addition to the usual going around the table and everyone saying what they are thankful for this year, think about doing some of these things:
- Thank you place cards. At each place setting, use decorative place cards and write a personal note that starts with, “I am thankful for you because __________”
- Keep a Journal of gratitude that you use each year. Essentially, each guest at the dinner table records an entry expressing what he or she is thankful for. You can add photos of your Thanksgiving table and guests from year to year as well. What a wonderful holiday keepsake!
- Get the kids involved! While awaiting the glorious meal, have a craft table for the kids to create a “thank you” collage where they can draw pictures of all the people or things that they are thankful for. If they are old enough to use scissors, include some magazine pages that they can use to cut and paste images as well.
We truly are blessed in many ways, big and small. Our friends and family are the greatest treasure that we hold, so I hope you take time to enjoy them this Thanksgiving and to give thanks together!

- I LOVE parties! Intimate dinner parties, baby showers, bridal showers, children’s birthday parties, holiday cookie swaps, or “just because” parties.
- I am a lifelong learner in party planning and baking. I believe that to stay current, you have to observe what is going on NOW in the world of parties and desserts. That means that I spend countless hours scouring the internet for the latest trends and revelations in order to expand my expertise.
- A great wedding or party is a personal one. That means that after establishing a theme to make your celebration stand out, I create custom desserts, decorations, print work, etc to tailor to your party - and your guests’ - needs.
- I UNDERSTAND the need to work within a budget. Weddings and parties can get really expensive really quickly. I can help set a budget and work to create a fabulous event within those confines.
